Welcome to bydans: a two-day contemporary dance event at Jillat – Sami Dance Center, bringing together emerging Nordic dance and choreography in an intimate festival setting. Over one weekend, you will experience what dance is and can be today through performances and work-in-progress showings, alongside shared meals, workshops, and a warm social atmosphere.
bydans is created for places where contemporary dance is rarely seen up close. The festival’s aim is simple: to grow curiosity, knowledge, and appetite for dance by meeting audiences where they are, and by inviting artists and locals into the same room, the same conversations, and the same experiences.
