You do not need to explain more about your situation than is necessary for us to understand how we can support your visit.

Entrance and movement through the building

The main entrance has a low threshold and wide doors. From the entrance, it is approximately 25 metres to the amphitheatre.

The amphitheatre has a separate entrance with a low threshold and is used during the summer season only. A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available in the building.

Please contact us before your visit if you would like assistance when arriving or need more detailed information about access within the building.

Wheelchairs and mobility aids

Wheelchair spaces can be arranged for all events, but the available position may depend on the room and audience layout.

Please contact us in advance so that we can prepare an appropriate space for you and any companion.

Mobility aids can normally be kept close to the seating area when space allows.

The entrance is about 80m from the parking area and might sometimes be slippery, please be careful.

Seating

Audience arrangements vary between events.

Depending on the programme, seating may include:

  • fixed seating

  • movable chairs

  • benches

  • cushions

  • standing audience areas

  • outdoor seating

If you need a particular type of seat, back support, an aisle position or the possibility to leave during the event, please contact us before arriving.

Toilets

We have two toilets available inside the building. One of them is a wheelchair-accessible toilet.

Sound, light and sensory information

Performances and events may include:

  • amplified sound

  • sudden or loud sounds

  • darkness

  • projections

  • rapidly changing light

  • haze or theatrical smoke

  • close proximity to performers

  • audience participation

Relevant information should be included on each event page.

Contact us if you need more detailed information about a specific performance. Where possible, we will ask the artistic team and provide a clearer description.

Quiet space and breaks

Depending on the event and building use, we may be able to identify a quieter place where visitors can rest temporarily.

This cannot always be guaranteed, particularly during large events. Contact us before your visit if access to a quiet space is important.

Visitors are welcome to leave an event when necessary, although re-entry may depend on the performance.

Language and communication

Most public information is available in English and Swedish. Events may also include Sámi languages or other languages depending on the artists and context.

Each event page should state:

  • performance language

  • whether the event relies heavily on spoken language

  • availability of subtitles or written information

Contact us if you need information in another format.

Companions and assistance

Visitors who need a companion, personal assistant or support person are welcome.

Companion tickets are free.

Assistance dogs are welcome where possible. Please contact us before the event so that we can prepare appropriately and inform the artistic team when necessary.

Accessibility at outdoor events varies according to terrain, distance, weather and temporary audience arrangements.

Outdoor locations may include:

  • uneven ground

  • forest paths

  • snow or ice

  • gravel

  • slopes
