Do you agree to contribute to a safe and non-judgemental space for all artists during the work period?
Yes
No

We believe in creating a supportive and respectful environment for everyone, regardless of background, identity, or experience.

This could be anything from a presentation of your design process, a work-in-progress showing of the costumes, a hands-on sewing or textile workshop, a school visit, or something more informal – like an open studio day, a conversation about materials and inspiration, or a collaborative activity with locals.

Would you be open to move to the north of Sweden if the conditions were right?

Vuollerim is a small village in the north of Sweden, located in Sápmi, with a strong sense of community and closeness to nature.

Living here means experiencing the Arctic seasons, peaceful surroundings, and a slower rhythm of life – while being part of something culturally vibrant and growing.

We’re asking this question because we sometimes look for artists and their families who may want to relocate long-term to be part of the development of JILLAT – Sámi Dance Center and the local cultural life.
