MOVIN’ is a community dance project in Jokkmokk and Vuollerim where people meet through movement, conversation and curiosity. Regardless of background or experience, you are welcome to participate and share your own expressions. Three groups will meet December and February 2026 – free of charge.

About the event
We believe that people can share experiences through dance.
MOVIN’ is now starting in Jokkmokk, a community dance project where three groups meet between December and February 2026, in Jokkmokk and Vuollerim.
Through movement, meetings and conversations, we create space for people to meet and share expressions. We create space for those of you who are in the middle of life, for those of you who are young adults and have just started to find your place, or for those of you who are older with a body full of experience. Maybe you have recently moved in and bring with you knowledge from other places, or you carry a long history, tradition and stories from the region.
Your background is important regardless of your body. No experience of dance is necessary, just curiosity and a desire to participate. You always participate based on your own experiences and physical conditions.
