About the event
In this sharing, the audience will get to experience Lilli O’Reilly Wagner Hansen and Astrid Bruun Lyby’s work-in-progress of their performance “Ø”. Lilli and Astrid are inspired by John Donne’s poem “No man is an island”, and through movement they explore and experiment with encounters between people. How can we, as humans, approach each other, and get close to another person? How do we navigate the duality of being connected and isolated, belonging and being alone? Through contemporary dance and partnering, Astrid and Lilli attempt to truly see each other, while also drawing inspiration from the people they have met on their way to Vuollerim and during their residency.
The performance is about 30 minutes and will be followed by an artistic talk where you can ask questions about their process.
