About the event

An immersive movement and sound performance by composer Ánndaris Rimpi and dance artist Tanja Andersson.

duoggu dággu is a Sámi expression describing a direction of movement, meaning “here and there.” Rooted in Sámi practice and philosophy, the work listens, senses, and shifts where sound and dance displace, spiral, and activate one another. Speakers surround the space, filling it with pendulum swings, rotating lassos, the percolating rhythm of coffee pots and time moving in circles. Choreography, movements and aesthetics stems from reindeer herding circular paths.

For Arctic Art Summit, Tanja will perform the solo version of the piece with Ánndaris compositions and field recordings.

The work premiered at Norberg Festival summer 2025 and performed at Fylkingen, Stockholm and Nationella Minioriteters Kulturhus in Göteborg during fall 2025.

Residency: Kulturporten, Porjus & Scen46, Göteborg

Collaborative project between Anrikningsverket (Norbergfestival) & Kulturporten
