About the dance company:
Invisible People Contemporary Dance Company was founded in 2017 by the Lule Sámi choreographer Liv Aira from Jokkmokk. The dance company is Norrbotten - based but tours the world with dance productions for all different target groups. The company's artistic works address topics that have been and are close to the Sami in history, such as; environment, nature, the way they lived and live, historical events that have influenced and affect the Sami way of life today. These subjects are shaped through dance, music, yoik and visual art that can speak to everyone, regardless of background or age.
