Hönttä “Hönttis” Hilpurainen and the Mystery of the Red Moped

Hönttis is a friendly and good-hearted masked character whose world is full of energy and movement! Designed primarily for children in kindergarten, preschool, and early primary school (ages 4–9), the performance package includes a 10-minute dance performance titled Hönttis and the Mystery of the Red Moped, a shared dance session, and an open, interactive segment. The work combines mask theatre and dance.

During the performance, the lovable masked character experiences a range of emotions, such as joy, sadness, anger, and excitement. Through the story, children are given tools to name and explore emotional recognition as well as develop empathy skills. The total duration of the program is approximately 45 minutes, with a recommended age of 4+.
