A unique opportunity for all kids in Jokkmokk Municipality to attend weekly dance classes for children and youth (ages 6–9 and 10–16) in Jokkmokk, every Thursday from August to December 2025. Led by dance artists from Sweden and abroad, with Liv Aira teaching when no guest is present. Free of charge

About the event
Dance classes for children and youth in Jokkmokk in collaboration with the cultural school in Jokkmokk.
Dance helps develop body awareness, coordination, strength, balance, and rhythm – just some of the many benefits of dancing. A dance class is a joyful experience where children move together with others, guided by a professional dancer or dance teacher. Sometimes we dance with music, sometimes without. Sometimes the movements are set by the teacher, and other times the children create their own using imagination and play.
Practical information:
Classes take place every Thursday from August to December 2025.
Two age groups, book the ticket for the appropriate group.
Ages 6–9 (approx. 30 minutes) 5.10pm - 5.45pm
