About the event
Welcome to an open rehearsal of Skájdde – The Brass Ring, a contemporary Sámi performance that blends dance, circus, poetry and storytelling.
During this open session, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process as the ensemble develops new material for the 2025 Skájdde festival. Witness how movement, sound and narrative come together in an artistic dialogue rooted in Sámi mythology and the story of the Brass Ring — a powerful symbol found in many Sámi traditions.
The rehearsal will be followed by an informal artist talk, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet the performers and creative team, hear about the vision behind the work, and ask questions.
This event is free for children up to 15 years, ticket is still needed to enter.
