About the event
Two artists meet. Dance and music. To Sea or not to Sea.
Both with roots and backgrounds in the Sea Sami. The meeting in dance and music takes its starting point in the music composed by Johan Sara Jr. — released as a CD trilogy Sea Sami, See, with sounds from the coast of Northern Norway. The music lays the foundation for a new concept where two artists create something together on a stage or in an environment that relates to the sea and coast.
It is a meeting that reflects the sea, the coast, people, birds and animals in close relationships. Out of love for the region — which at the same time faces many challenges with resource depletion — an interactive work of art grows out of movement, dance, sound and music. Artistic expressions in contrast and complementation, in interaction, questions and answers. A dynamic but quiet space…
