Dance, circus, joik and music come together in this unique festival in the heart of Sápmi. Welcome to the second year of the theme "The Brass Ring" – a place where tradition meets contemporary performance under the midnight sun. We have the same program both Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th.

About the event
Welcome to Skájdde – The Brass Ring, a magical summer festival in the heart of Sápmi, where contemporary performance and Sámi storytelling meet in nature’s most powerful setting – Storforsen.
Now in its second year under the theme The Brass Ring, the festival offers a full weekend of immersive experiences for all ages. Follow a mother’s journey through dance, yoik, circus and music in the main stage production – a story about connection, memory and the wisdom of Sámi goddesses.
But Skájdde is more than just a show – it’s an artistic world to explore:
Festival Highlights: The Main Stage Show – A grand performance of dance, circus, yoik, music and poetry (Sat & Sun 15:00–16:30)
Children’s Theatre by the Fire – Mini-versions of the main story told by Sámi artist Malva Lardén (2 showings/day)
