Astrid Bruun Lyby is a dynamic Copenhagen-based dancer and choreographer whose artistic journey is rooted in both rigorous training and adventurous exploration. She holds a diploma from Sceneindgangen C.A.D.A. in Copenhagen (2017–18) and completed her BA in dance at Balettakademien Göteborg (2020–23).

Her practice spans live stage, dance film and site-specific works. Notably, she appeared in the film ARANAE by Det Fynske Dansekompagni, and performed in the production Slackers at Dansekapellet in November 2025.

Astrid also brings her musical sensibility—playing piano, guitar and singing—into movement, fostering collaborations across art forms.

Dedicated to inclusive and multidisciplinary creation, she enjoys blending different strengths and crafts in collaborative environments. During this residency, Astrid will focus on creating a new work in dialogue with place, community and memory—and invites local engagement as part of the process.
